Architetto e designer, nasce ad Engelberg in Svizzera nel 1968. Nel 1995 si laurea presso la Facoltà di Architettura di Firenze e nel 1996 fonda lo “Studio di Architettura Daniele Menichini”, che si occupa di progettazione, interni, allestimenti, design, comunicazione visiva e art direction di aziende nel settore dell’arredamento home e contract. All’accurata ricerca teorica affianca un attento lavoro pratico nel campo dell’Architettura, degli interni e del design dedicandosi allo studio delle problematiche dell’abitare, del vivere contemporaneo e dell’ospitalità. Sin dagli inizi dell'attività lo stile progettuale si è subito contraddistinto per la contemporaneità delle linee, la matericità, il colore, l'atmosfera, l'emozionalità e la multisensorialità dello spazio con particolare attenzione allo sviluppo di concept eco-based ed al dettaglio a partire da un percorso formativo tecnico, creativo e manageriale basato su ricerche e progetti in tema di progettazione integrata e sostenibile riferita ai paesi del nord europa che con le esperienze maturate hanno portato alla stesura dei progetti di impronta e filosofia eco-responsabile. È membro della task force Obiettivi Sviluppo Sostenibile Agenda 2030 ONU dell’Unione Internazionale Architetti. E’ stato visiting professor all’Ecole Superieure d’Architecture et Design di Tunis e della School of Architecture Planning and Design di Benguerir in Marocco. E’ stato parte del team curatoriale del Padiglione Italia “Comunità Resilienti” alla 17° Mostra Internazionale di Architettura Biennale di Venezia e del team organizzativo dell’evento collaterale “Students as researchers” alla 18° Mostra Internazionale di Architettura Biennale di Venezia. È membro del team curatoriale progetto “We are out of time – Architetture Sostenibili X” e “Metamorphosis. Transforming italian architecture – festival Architettura III” sostenuti dalla Direzione Generale Creatività Contemporanea del Ministero Italiano della Cultura.

Architect and designer, he was born in Engelberg, Switzerland in 1968. In 1995 he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Florence and in 1996 founded the ‘Studio di Architettura Daniele Menichini’, which deals with planning, interiors, design, visual communication and art direction for companies in the home and contract furnishing sector. Accurate theoretical research is flanked by careful practical work in the field of architecture, interiors and design, dedicating himself to the study of the problems of living, contemporary living and hospitality. From the very beginning of his activity, his design style immediately stood out for the contemporary lines, materiality, colour, atmosphere, emotionality and multi-sensoriality of space with a focus on the development of eco-based concepts and details starting from a technical, creative and managerial training based on research and projects on integrated and sustainable design with reference to northern European countries, which with the experience gained led to the drafting of projects with an eco-responsible imprint and philosophy. He is a member of the task force Sustainable Development Goals Agenda 2030 UN of the International Union of Architects. He was a visiting professor at the Ecole Superieure d'Architecture et Design in Tunis and the School of Architecture Planning and Design in Benguerir, Morocco. He was part of the curatorial team of the Italian Pavilion ‘Resilient Communities’ at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition Biennale in Venice and of the organisational team of the collateral event ‘Students as researchers’ at the 18th International Architecture Exhibition Biennale in Venice. He is a member of the project curatorial team ‘We are out of time - Sustainable Architecture X’ and "Metamorphosis. Transforming italian architecture - festival Architettura III" supported by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
