Dr.-Ing. arch. Anna Lorens - architetto, interior e product designer, designer del marchio veneziano Siru, ricercatrice presso il Glass Cluster dell'Università IUAV di Venezia, vincitrice della prima edizione del concorso TEORIA della Fondazione Stefan Kuryłowicz, membro della giuria dell'Architectural Award della rivista Polityka/Salon nella categoria Interiors.
L'illuminazione progettata da Anna Lorens per il marchio Siru è stata esposta non solo alla Light Fair dello scorso anno, ma anche alla Maison Objet di Parigi e al Light&Building di Francoforte, e sarà presentata all'EuroLuce di quest'anno, nell'aprile 2025, nell'ambito del Salone del Mobile di Milano.
Anna Lorens è professore assistente presso la Facoltà di Architettura dell'Università di Tecnologia di Varsavia, responsabile del Laboratorio di Teoria e Progettazione Architettonica e di Design del Prodotto presso il Dipartimento di Progettazione e Teoria Architettonica diretto dal Prof. Radosław Achramowicz, e coordinatore del primo anno di Design, materia di punta dell'anno per i gruppi di lingua inglese. È anche un progettista attivo nei settori dell'architettura su piccola scala, degli interni e del design di prodotto, oltre che ricercatore, autore di numerose pubblicazioni su questi temi (tra cui le ultime tre pubblicate da testate italiane sotto l'egida dello IUAV), relatore di tesi di laurea, tutor di concorsi (tra cui il VELUX Design Award, vincitore regionale, stud. Alexandra Cassino, Lightroof); co-organizzatore di workshop per studenti sul vetro (con la prof.ssa Maria Antonia Barucco, già prof. Maximilano Romero) presso l'Università IUAV di Venezia.
I suoi interessi si concentrano sui temi della materia (design in vetro), dell'architettura effimera e del design universale.

Anna Lorens - architect, interior and product designer, designer of the Venetian brand Siru, researcher at the Glass Cluster of the IUAV University of Venice, winner of the first edition of the Stefan Kuryłowicz Foundation's TEORIA competition, member of the jury of the Architectural Award of Polityka/Salon magazine in the Interiors category.
The lighting designed by Anna Lorens for the Siru brand was exhibited not only at last year's Light Fair, but also at Maison Objet in Paris and Light&Building in Frankfurt, and will be presented at this year's EuroLuce in April 2025 as part of the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Anna Lorens is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Warsaw University of Technology, head of the Laboratory of Architectural Theory and Design and Product Design at the Department of Design and Architectural Theory headed by Prof. Radosław Achramowicz, and coordinator of the first year of Design, the year's flagship subject for English-speaking groups. She is also an active designer in the fields of small-scale architecture, interiors and product design, as well as a researcher, author of numerous publications on these topics (including the last three published by Italian publications under the aegis of the IUAV), thesis advisor, competition tutor (including the VELUX Design Award, regional winner, stud. Alexandra Cassino, Lightroof); co-organiser of student workshops on glass (with Prof. Maria Antonia Barucco, formerly Prof. Maximilano Romero) at the IUAV University of Venice.
Her interests focus on the themes of material (glass design), ephemeral architecture and universal design.
