Monica Cerutti è un’esperta di innovazione digitale e attivista per l'uguaglianza di genere. Laureata in Scienze dell’Informazione all’Università di Torino, è impegnata nel promuovere l'inclusione digitale e la parità tra i sessi. Co-fondatrice e membro del consiglio di UN Women Italia, è anche attiva in Donne 4.0, progetto che favorisce la partecipazione femminile nella tecnologia. È stata assessora regionale in Piemonte, dove ha lavorato su temi come le pari opportunità e la cooperazione internazionale. Attualmente, è ricercatrice assegnista presso il Dipartimento di Informatica dell'Università degli Studi di Torino occupandosi di tecnologie civiche digitali; è inoltre membro del consiglio di amministrazione di SMAT e del board etico delle tecnologie emergenti del Comune di Torino, sostenendo l’uso responsabile dell'Intelligenza Artificiale.

Monica Cerutti is a digital innovation expert and gender equality activist. A graduate in Information Sciences from the University of Turin, she is committed to promoting digital inclusion and gender equality. Co-founder and board member of UN Women Italia, she is also active in Donne 4.0, a project that promotes women's participation in technology. She was a regional councillor in Piedmont, where she worked on issues such as equal opportunities and international cooperation. Currently, she is a research fellow at the Department of Informatics of the University of Turin dealing with digital civic technologies; she is also a member of the board of directors of SMAT and of the ethical board of emerging technologies of the City of Turin, supporting the responsible use of Artificial Intelligence.
